DEEQ (Deeq Development Organization) is a local NGO established in 2023, dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable groups—women, children, youth at risk, disabled people and minority groups—through advocacy, capacity building, and sustainable development interventions across Somalia.

Established with a vision to create lasting change, DDO Somalia has grown to become a trusted humanitarian partner across the region.

Foundation

DDO was founded with a clear mandate to address the humanitarian needs of vulnerable communities across Somalia, starting with emergency response and expanding to comprehensive development solutions.

Growth

Over the years, we've expanded our footprint, established local partnerships, and developed evidence-based programs addressing the root causes of vulnerability and poverty.

Impact

Today, DDO is recognized as a leading humanitarian organization, having positively impacted over 250,000 lives through integrated development programs and emergency responses.

Our Mission

To ensure that the most vulnerable groups—women, youth at risk, children, minority groups, and disabled people—have equitable access to their basic rights through capacity building, advocacy, community behavior change, resource mobilization, and participatory development programs.
